However, Marshal and Chief Executive Officer of FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, has revealed more at a press briefing in Abuja.
“During this operation, the Corps will once more rely on the robust partnership with the for aerial traffic surveillance. This segment of the operation will be flagged off tomorrow 24 December, 2015 (today) at the Domestic Wing of the Abuja. As usual, a total manpower of 36,000 will be in action. This figure includes those at the national headquarters who have been duly mobilised and are already reporting at their various stations."
Oyeyemi also spoke on the recent deployment of officers.
“In addition, the Deputy Corps Marshals and Assistant Corps Marshals have been relocated to marshal operations along the nation’s road corridors, with a Situation Office to operate 24/7 alongside the Call Center.”
