Tech company announces new smartphone

Samsung has launched a new rugged smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 and the handset is designed to be waterproof and also dust and drop proof.

Samsung has announced the release of a new smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 comes with a 4.5 inch display with a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and the device is powered by a quad core 1.2GHz processor.

The device also features 1.5GB of RAM And 8GB of included storage, there is also a microSD card slot for additional storage.

The new Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 comes with an IP67 rating and the handset can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.

Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 include a 2 megapixel front facing camera and a 5 megapixel rear camera, the handset also features a 2200 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE.

The pricing is not available yet, but we will let you know as soon as it is out.
