At its Build 2016 event, Microsoft has announced that it will be delivering a big upgrade for Windows 10 that will deliver some sizeable improvements.
Sign-in to websites with your fingerprint via Windows 10 Anniversary Update
Pen support will also blessed with a sticky note app, a sketchpad and virtual drawing tools like a ruler and a stencil.
The company calls the upgrade an "Anniversary Update" for Windows 10 and for starters, it will bring Windows Hello's biometric authentication to all kinds of apps, including the Edge browser - you will be able to sign in to a website with your fingerprint.
Pen support will also blessed with a sticky note app, a sketchpad and virtual drawing tools like a ruler and a stencil.
There will also be more advanced gesture controls and pen input, a Linux command-line shell, smarter Cortana commands (like sending files to colleagues, for example) and a merger of the Windows 10 and XboxOne app stores.
The Anniversary Update will be available later in the year, so you should be able to give it a try real soon.
