A number of partners and resellers drawn from key segments of the Nigerian smartphone and mobile devices sector were also present at the event.

In his opening address, Jack Lee disclosed that the InnJoo brand is keen to offer Nigerians a unique user experience with its range of price-friendly and high-quality devices, the latest of which is the Max 3.

“The Max 3 is a sleek and high-specifications device that would go a long way in meeting the needs and aspirations of millions of Nigerians in search of a high-powered mobile device at the right price point.

“Our commitment is to offer Nigerians an unrivalled user experience with our devices. This explains why the Max 3 is being launched first in Nigeria. Most of our senior Management Executives are resident here in Nigeria and this goes to show how much value we place on the Nigerian market by making it the first African country to experience the Max 3," Lee said.

The InnJoo Max 3 is a high-specification smartphone built around an all-metal body design and 2.5D diamond-cut glass with a six-inch HD screen. The Max 3 is also equipped with a 4000mAh long-life battery which Innjoo says will last over two days on normal usage and 19 hours phone call time with a single charge.

Fitted with two dual cameras and a quad-core processor, Innjoo says the Max 3 offers users 0.35 seconds lightning fast unlock speed, along with the guarantee of quicker upload and download of multimedia contents.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Ndukwe, lauded the Max 3 as a device that will fulfil the yearnings of a number of tech-savvy Nigerian youth.

“InnJoo's latest device - the Max 3 is bound to be the toast of tech-savvy Nigerian youths who will definitely find the six-inch device as powerful tool for watching football, movies and games.

“A good smartphone coming at the right price will sell because, in as much as people care about the price, they also want and deserve better quality.

“I have no doubts that the market will welcome this device with open hands. Even today, doctors use mobile devices to analyse diagnoses or x-rays while attending to patients. Smartphones have become very adaptive in every industry just like the telecommunications networks are powering businesses today.

“I wish to commend the Management of InnJoo for the technical prowess which went into the production of this device. For a company that only recently launched in this part of the world, this is a testimony to the determination and commitment of the team to make a mark in the industry,” he concluded.

Expressing his confidence in the capacity of the InnJoo Management team to deliver, Ekeh said, "I have interacted with the InnJoo team and I am convinced that, as a company, they are passionate about content which provides opportunities for app developers in Nigeria.

“This is why TD is ready to give them the best support. We have done it before for other brands, still doing it and will never relent. Most companies we brought to Nigeria have grown to become global leaders in their space. Companies as Microsoft, HP, Apple and many others expanded their operations into Nigeria as a result and grew impressively and InnJoo will soon join that."

The event also featured a question and answer session.
