Just like a real-life Iron Man, Facebook CEO's AI assistant is called Jarvis

In a new video, Zuckerberg can be seen interacting with Jarvis, voiced by Morgan Freeman (how cool is that?), just as he gets out of bed.

In recent years, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been giving himself publicly known personal growth challenges.

In past years, as a way of maintaining optimal personal development and keep his creative juices flowing, Zuckerberg has given himself challenges ranging from reading a book every two weeks for a year to learning to speak Mandarin, the Chinese language.

For 2016, the challenge is peculiar and, to be honest, quite ambitious. Zuckerberg, in January, said he is going to build an AI system that can run his home using Facebook tools.

AI is a technology field essential to Facebook's future (remember bots?) and the field keeps getting ever interesting with new interesting advancements in AI technology and robotics.

In Tony Stark (aka Ironman aka billionaire baby boy aka badass Avenger) style, Zuckerberg has built out his AI assistant and named it Jarvis.

In a new video, Zuckerberg can be seen interacting with Jarvis, voiced by Morgan Freeman (how cool is that?), just as he gets out of bed.  Through the video, it becomes clear that Zuckerberg's creation can do a few things.

Jarvis can turn the lights on and off,  play music based on Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan's tastes, wake up their one-year-old daughter Max with Mandarin lessons and make toast.

Apart from giving the personal AI assistant voice commands, Zuckerberg and his wife can also ask it to do stuff by sending it a text through a Facebook app he built specifically for that purpose.

In a Fast Company article, Zuckerberg says he, over the last year, he has spent between 100 and 150 hours on his home project. Luckily, his wife finds it all interesting too.
