When the opportunity arose to have Mr Osibona open the proceedings I was delighted. Having spoken in depth with Mr Osibona, what really impressed me is his open approach to the future of ICT, the role the Government want to adopt within that, and his willingness to understand and work with all the different elements of the private sector to make it happen,” remarked Matthew Dawes, the founder of the conference.

His full-day attendance at the conference will add an extra dimension to the proceedings and the outputs. Mobile West Africa is designed to be a high quality, intimate, progressive event and I have always intended for it to contribute to the realisation of the potential of technology in Nigeria. I believe that Mr Osibona’s attendance will accelerate this goal.”
