Apple has already sold out the jet black models of its latest phone!

Today, Apple announced that it has already run out of its initial batches of the jet black iPhone 7.

Jet black iPhone 7

Back when all of Nigerian Twitter was complaining about Apple removing the headphone jack from its latest flagship iPhone7 and 7 Plus, the only thought in my head was "Una go still buy," and I am already being proven right.

Today, Apple announced that it has already run out of its initial batches of the jet black iPhone 7 and the even more expensive iPhone 7 Plus in every color.

Apparently, there have been so many pre-orders that even walk-in customers at all of Apple's stores worldwide will get to have a feel of the those particular phones when they will be officially released on Friday, September 16, 2016.

That means that anyone that wants to buy one of the new Apple smartphones can only get the smaller iPhone 7 in silver, gold, rose gold, and black - and Apple is still saying that those will only be available in limited quantities.

"We sincerely appreciate our customers' patience as we work hard to get the new iPhone into the hands of everyone who wants one as quickly as possible," the company said in a statement. So much for "Na God go punish Apple!"

Apple says customers can still order any model of the iPhone 7 online, the only thing is it may take a bit longer to get to you. The immense demand for the new black and jet black iPhones especially is forcing Apple to set delivery dates as far as November for some models.

The not-so-expected surge in demand for the new iPhone is very good news for Apple - the company has been struggling with declining iPhone sales in recent times.

Apple's stock already climbed by nearly 8% just this weeks, after jumping more than 4% on Wednesday when the iPhone was launched. That boost has pushed Apple stock to its highest level this year making the company worth $600 billion once again - $60 billion more than its closest rival Alphabet.
