You can now save live videos on your phone!

Instagram launched the Live feature in November 2016, shortly after it launched its Snapchat-style Stories feature.

Live streaming isn’t that much of a thing in Nigeria yet. But every media expert in the world is all about video being the new frontier so every social media platform is trying to get on that train — which brings us to Instagram’s latest feature.

The Facebook-owned photo-sharing app, yesterday, launched a new feature that lets you save your live videos after they have ended.

Here’s how it works: After you end a live video, a ‘save’ button appears at the top left corner of the screen and clicking it will save the video on your device.

Instagram launched the Live feature in November 2016, shortly after it launched its Snapchat-style Stories feature.

While there have not been any numbers detailing the amount of usage Instagram’s Live feature gets, Stories have caught up with Snapchat’s 150 million daily active users. Make of that what you will.
