Betty could be the first 'tweeting' chicken the world has ever seen

You wonder what the aim of this exercise is? Of course it is only to get Betty in the Guinness World Records.

The aim is to get Betty the chicken into the Guinness World Record as the first tweeting chicken.

A fast-food chain in Australia is trying to get a chicken to tweet a five-letter word in English and just like you’d expect, people are going nuts about it.

Australia definitely loves it animals. It is home to some terrifying, deadly creatures, kangaroos that would stand up to Floyd Mayweather, and so on.

However, this is 2015. Watching animals in game reserves, and kangaroo joeys cuddle one another or have kitten delivered to your door isn’t just enough anymore.

People want more and Chicken Treat, a Western Australian fast food chain is giving the Aussies just what they want with its project tagged ‘#chickentweet’.

So how do you get a chicken to tweet? Apparently, the franchise has given Betty the chicken a home at “Chicken Tweet HQ,” where Chicken Treat hopes she’ll become accustomed enough to the keyboard by Oct. 30 to tweet a five letter word in English. And so far, the results have not been very promising.

You wonder what the aim of this exercise is? Of course it is only to get Betty in the Guinness World Records.

Chicken Treat is keeping anyone interested in seeing how this feat turns out updated with videos and even periscoping Betty’s progress.

While this may be a marketing gimmick, it is an original one and hopefully one that doesn’t end up in barbecue sauce and a dinner plate.
