Members of the panel included Adetomiwa Aladekomo, Director of Client Service and Strategy at Ventra Media Group; Jadesola Osiberu, Founder of Tribe85 Productions; and Sisi Yemmie, CEO of SisiYemmie. The panel was moderated by CNN Africa supervising producer Stephanie Busari.

The panel discussed how live video was gradually becoming a tool for telling great African stories and how people can use live video to tell their stories to a worldwide audience.

Recognizing the challenges that content creators could face as they try to develop content around live video, members of the panel opined that consistency was the greatest asset a creator could have, closely followed by compelling stories.

During the Q&A session that followed, panelists spoke about the major pitfalls of live video and ways in which users can avoid them. Responding to a question about what medium would be best for live videos, Sisi Yemmie said, 'For me, its Periscope. It just has a way of notifying my Twitter followers when I start a live video. And that is where my core audience are.'

Participants in the session were further encouraged to aim for consistency when it comes to live videos and while a pre-prepared set is good for aesthetics, urged members of the audience to still pursue content creation using live video.
