Mobile Company seals new acquisition deal

This recent acquisition will see CEC Liquid Telecoms controlling a large percentage of the Internet market in Zambia.

CEC Liquid Telecoms acquires Realtime Technology Alliance Africa Limited.

CEC Liquid Telecoms in a press briefing today, announced the acquisition of Realtime technology alliance Africa limited.

Realtime Technology Alliance Africa is the second largest Internet service provider in Zambia.

According to Andrew Kapula, the CEC Liquid Telecoms Managing Director, “This is another major milestone for both our company and the Zambian telecoms market. We will continue to invest in Zambia so that we can provide operators, ISPs, homes and businesses of all sizes with the fastest and most reliable broadband available in Zambia. We believe in the power of connectivity to change lives and will continue to build a high-quality network that will enable our people and businesses to prosper.”

Liquid Telecoms will expand its fibre optic service, Fibroniks through Realtime technology, in Zambia.

Fibroniks is rumoured to be the fastest broadband in Zambia. It is designed for homes and businesses.

They will be getting 100Mbps via Liquid Telecoms' Fibre optic infrastructure.
