Tech giant becomes first US company to hit $700b in value

The tech giant has become the first company to reach a market value of $700 billion.

The closing price of American multinational corporation, Apple on Tuesday, February, 11 hit above $700bn, making history as the first US company to achieve that.

The tech giant’s shares rose almost 2% in the trading session, closing at %122.02, giving the company the above market value.

That’s nearly double the next largest company on the list, Exxon Mobil.

The company reported a quarterly profit of $18bn for the final three months of last year which is the largest ever made by a company.

Apple’s fantastic year was as a result of its new range of larger iPhones, with 74.5 million handsets sold between October and December.

Apple also made significant progress as it was revealed that undefined.
