The Africa Technology Summit has kicked off with many executives, founders, and investors in the African technology landscape converging at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana the yearly summit.

A number of Nigerian companies are present at the summit including - Pulse.ng, Jobberman, Hotels.ng and The Tony Elumelu Foundation. Nigeria once again shows strong signs of tech boom with these number of attendees.

Other industry players Ushahidi, Uber, Google, Tisu, Facebook, Microsoft, MTN, and Vodacom.

Over 40 domain experts from all parts of the African tech ecosystem will share their insights along with 8 panels that will discuss everything from eCommerce to New Media.

The two-day event provides a unique opportunity for key-decision makers to connect, learn from each other, share best practices and foster relationships that should bring about value to their respective organizations in the nearest future

The Africa Technology Summit is organized by Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), based in Accra, Ghana in conjunction with Stuff magazine, which is based in Johannesburg.

MEST is a training program, seed fund and incubator for African entrepreneurs, which has been recognized as one of 'Fast Company’s 10 Most Innovative Companies' in Africa in 2015.
