In a statement issued by the NACOMYO National President, Alhaji Kamal’ddin Akintunde in Abuja, on Monday, the youths say, thought the ceasefire is welcomed, its timing suggests it is nothing but a political gimmick ahead of  the elections.

Akintunde said President Goodluck Jonathan’s delay in negotiating a ceasefire makes his sudden interest a questionable electioneering propaganda.

It called on the Federal Government to put nation first in all decisions.
