The Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), Blacksburg, Virginia, has announced plans to host a series of 'hacking' workshops for Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering students of the institution.
University Organises Workshops For Student 'Hackers'
An American university, Virginia Tech, is turning its students into 'hackers' with hackathon workshops.
Participating students will be exposed to to different applications of programming and hacking.
Student Pulse gathered that the workshops, also called hackathons, will hold from the 3rd of November to the 7th and 10th to 14th,at several locations.
Hackathons are organized to encourage students to develop their technical ingenuity and creativity.
The institution held a similar 3-day event in April where participants were challenged to develop innovative ideas that integrate software programming and hardware development.
