According to the university’s Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs, Kunle Akogun, the registered candidates all selected the university as their first choice and scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2015 UTME as required by the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Akogun said the examinations will be conducted using the computer-based test (CBT) method which JAMB fully adopted in the 2015 UTME.

He advised students to attend the test with their printed copied of examination schedules.

The official warned candidates against indecent dressing and examination malpractices.

”Candidates for the pre-admission screening exercise are also advised to be decently dressed, as candidates with indecent dressing will not be allowed into the screening premises," Akogun was quoted as saying.

“Also, phones and all other forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises."

The candidates will be hoping to secure admissions for the 2015/2016 academic session.

It will be recalled that in the 2014/2015 academic session, only 12,650 students were able to secure admission as revealed by the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali.

This means that about 50,000 students will not be admitted this year.
