A statement by NYSC showed that the false timetable could have been the work of hackers.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Batch A, 2016, Orientation has not been cancelled as has been rumoured by a few news sites.

According to TheCable, a story previously made the rounds that the orientation programme has been postponed from April 27 to May 25.

Reports noted that the online news platform TheCable, published a story announcing the NYSC change of dates. The site has now come out to say the story was false and the NYSC timetable still remain the same.

A statement on the NYSC camp also revealed that the reports were false. According to NYSC representatives, the strange time table was the work of hackers who had supposedly gained access to the NYSC website.
