Another 3,988 accountants have been awarded Professional Post-Graduate Diploma in Accountancy at the 6th convocation of the Nigerian College of Accountancy (NCA).
In a statement issued at the weekend, the President of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Alhaji Sakirudeen Labode, said the College has grown remarkably over the years.
“The college has been waxing stronger and stronger with 10 students as at 1984/1985 session to over 3,000 students in the current year (2013/2014),” Labode said.
“The college is saddled with the responsibility of training young professional Accountants with modern learning /teaching techniques.
NCA, the training and research arm of ANAN was established in 1984 to train professional accountants.
About 10,000 students have been awarded Professional Post-Graduate Diploma in Accountancy since inception.
