Scholarship board screens 10,000 for 2016/17 award
The Executive Secretary of the board said the exercise would commence next week and will last for one month
Dr. Sahabi Yauri, the Executive Secretary of the board, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday.
Yauri said the exercise would commence next week and will last for one month.
He said it was mandatory for prospective applicants to present original copies of their credentials, admission letters and indigene certificates.
He warned them against the use of proxy to avoid impersonation and other related dubious acts.
Yauri commended the state government for regular payment of tuition and registration fees of students studying in tertiary institutions nationwide, and urged them to reciprocate the gesture.
NAN reports that the government recently settled backlog of N1billion tuition and registration fees of its students studying within and outside the country.
