The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa, on Friday, said it arrested three suspects, including a lady (names withheld), for alleged impersonation and examination malpractice.

He said that the lecturer noticed that the suspects were jittery while writing the examination, adding that when he confronted them, he found out that they were not genuine students of the school.
The NSCDC Commandant in the state, Mr Muhammad Gidado, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse.
Gidado said that the suspects were arrested on Thursday by NSCDC officials who were supervising examination at Jahun School of Health Technology, in Jahun, Jahun Local Government Area of the state.
He alleged that the suspects were arrested while writing the examination for either their friends or relatives. The commandant said that the matter was initially reported to the corps by the one of the lecturers supervising the examination.
Gidado said when the teacher interrogated them; they could not give satisfactory explanation. He said that the corps had launched investigation to ascertain who the suspects were writing the examination for, and how they gained entrance into the examination hall.
The commandant further told NAN that after the investigation, the suspects would be charged to court immediately.
