A Senior Secondary School 3 student has committed suicide at Phase 2, Site 1, Kubwa, Abuja, briefly after quarrelling with his mother.

According to a Daily Independent report, the deceased identified as Victor, drank a poisonous chemical briefly after quarrelling with his mother.
He is believed to have drank a Sniper, a popular liquid insecticide used in many homes.
A source quoted in the report said Victor has a habit of getting angry whenever his parents scold him.

Narrating the events leading to the unfortunate suicide, the source said the mother had told prevented Victor from dishing food for himself.
“He went straight to his room, took the poisonous substance and drank, and before the mother could get to know what he did, he was already dead” the source said.
He was taken to the Kubwa General hospital where doctors declared him dead.
