According to a report, the Katsina Commissioner of Education, Professor Aminu Kado Kurfi, said no fewer than 40,000 students will benefit from the initiative..
The Commissioner said the government made the gesture to ensure that students from the state take part in the examinations and get admitted into tertiary institutions.
Kurfi also revealed that a total of 3,235 laptop computers to principals, vice principals, zonal education directors and the three tertiary institutions in the state.
