The Umaru Musa Yar’adua University has expelled 31 students in relation to allegations that they engaged in examination malpractices.

UMYU has expelled 31 students who engaged in examination misconduct
The senate of the University converged at their 65th regular meeting to consider the report of the Central Examination Misconduct Committee on the examination misconduct cases during the First Semester of the 2014/2015 session.
During the meeting, the senate approved the dismissal of 31 students for various examination offences. while one student was rusticated for two semesters.
According to reports, 17 of the expelled students were from the Faculty of Education, five from Faculty of Humanities, seven from Faculty of Natural & Applied Sciences, two from Faculty of Social and Management Sciences while the rusticated student was from Faculty of Education.
