He pulled out of the Super Eagles squad during the last international break in March to fully recover.

The 18-year-old shared a photo of himself training on his Instagram.

"Back in running and training on the square. #comingbackstronger," he wrote alongside the photo.

The former Golden Eaglets star has struggled with injuries since joining Wolfsburg.

Wolfsburg secured his signature after he finished as the highest goalscorer at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup and created history with 10 goals in seven games.

He was also part of the Nigeria Dream Team that won the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Senegal.

He is yet to play a competitive game for Wolfsburg senior side but has featured for their U-20 side.
