Despite carrying a calf injury,
Some of the Super Eagles called up for the friendly games have arrived at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in London.
The wing-back suffered a calf injury in Chelsea’s 1-0 FA Cup win over Manchester United on Monday, March 13 but still played in their 2-1 win at Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday, March 18.
The Super Eagles medical team has confirmed the injury and the forward has been given permission to leave camp.
It’s a full house at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in London as Chidozie Awaziem, Isaac Success, Ogenyi Onazi, Carl Ikeme, Bazee Noah, Alex Iwobi, Simon Moses, Wilfred Ndidi, Shehu Abdullahi, Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho, Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, Moses Simon, Wilfred Ndidi, Ahmed Musa, Tyrone Ebuhehi, John Ogu, Kenneth Omeruo have all arrived camp.
The friendly games against Senegal and Burkina Faso will take place at The Hive (home ground of Barnet Football Club), London
The friendly games are to prepare for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in June and the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying double header against reigning African champions Cameroon in August and September.
