James Rodriguez Signs Six Year Deal with Real Madrid

The World Cup Golden Boot winner James Rodriguez, <a href="http://pulse.ng/sports/football/transfer-talk-james-rodriguez-makes-6-year-record-transfer-move-to-madrid-id3004797.html" id="7b0bfda2-f5dc-5f42-aa30-52cca5eb730b">signed for Real Madrid for a reported £60million to become fourth most-expensive transfer of all time.</a>

The Colombia star agreed to the six-year contract with Madrid, and immediately underwent medical screening. Only Gareth Bale (£80m), Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m) and Barcelona's Luis Suarez (£75m) cost more than Rodriguez. Real Madrid have Toni Kroos (£24m) and Karim Benzema (£30m) for £274m total. Real said they reached an agreement with Monaco for the transfer of James Rodriguez, who will join the club for the next six seasons.
