Ghanaian boxer, Bukom Banku, however, thinks he can defeat Joshua.

‘’I would love to fight Joshua, am serious about it and will beat him if we fight. I know some people will doubt me because Joshua is unbeaten and has beaten some top guys[Klitschko] in his division but they also have to trust me[their countryman]’’ Banku said on Sports Link program on Saturday, May 6 in Ghana.

‘’I will beat him[Joshua] hands down. I watched his fight with Klitschko and was not impressed with him but happy he defeated the Ukrainian.”

Just like Joshua, Banku is undefeated in his professional boxing career, with 21 knockout wins in 28 bouts.

The 36-year-old who claims to be a one-time sparring partner of Floyd Mayweather is preparing to face another Ghanaian Bastie Samir.
