Why do Celestians walk barefooted?

I grew up listening to different tales of why I should never visit a white garment church.

I heard tales like they worshipped their founder late Samuel Bilehou Joseph Osoffa and that they never wear shoes because they copy their late founder, who was alleged to have big foots that didn’t fit any shoes.

Some say that they do not wear shoes because they practise the verse in the bible where God told Moses to take off his sandals because he was standing on the holy ground [Exodus 3:5]

Some also say they worship marine spirits because they only build their worship centre close to rivers, beaches, lakes etc. [This I do not believe because I have seen their churches in residential areas]

I heard they bath in flowing waters because they believe it washes their sins and troubles away.

Also I heard males and female do not sit together in during church sermons in a celestial church, the person further explained that this is to prevent distractions during sermon.

Another friend told me new comers are made to sit behind alongside with those who are not wearing the white garment. [Do not know how true it is though]

All this I cannot verify but the Lord has stated in his holy books that we should remove the log of wood in our eyes before looking at someone else’s dirt.

Here is why I would appreciate if someone explains why some things are, the truth is most Nigerians do not understand what it is about and that may be why they are quick to throw stones.
