Cool right? Imagine understanding the word of the Lord through emojis.
The bible has been translated to Emojis
The most translated book in the world has yet again been translated, this time not to a modernised English or to a new language but to emojis.
The creator of the now controversial Emoji Bible [name withheld] has received abusive comments from both atheists and conservative Christians.
According to Huffington Post, the creator of the Emoji bible replaced words that were used repeatedly with emojis.
He stated that the twitter community who served as his proofreaders received his translations with positive reviews.
“It was like a public proofread, I’d tweet out the rough draft, get feedback from the Twitter community, then revise my program,” the creator said.
“I hope that they view it as fun. I hope that it has people on both sides go and maybe look for themselves and what’s in the Bible and what it says,” the translator told The Huffington Post.
“The book has a lot of human history in it, a lot of really good things and also negative things. I hope it helps everyone on both sides of the argument to see it for what it is.”
