What to consider before entering a relationship

“Love is patient, love is kind."

Before you go on a date with a potential partner, you need to understand the above verse.

The basis of all relationships should be love. If your partner loves you, then he/she wants your success as much as you do. He/She prays along with you, trusts you, is honest, kind towards you, patient and is not jealous.

How do we know if he or she will be the above?

Before you think of the above question, I suggest you look at yourself, have you incorporated what the book of Corinthians 13: 4-7 says?

Do you love your neighbor unconditionally? Are you patient? Do you rejoice in evil? If you expecting unconditional love from your partner, you should be able to give it too.

Back to the question, how to know if he/she will love you unconditionally, LISTEN TO GOD’s VOICE.

Proverbs 3: 5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

Because we are humans and sometimes can’t perceive our neighbor’s intentions it is best we lean on Gods direction.

Note: Do not expect what you don’t have, you want LOVE, you have to give LOVE.
