10 promises God makes to His children

The Bible is one of Gods ways of communicating with us.

Through it, He urges us to stay away from sin and live the right way, the God way.

He also makes a lot of promises to us, His children.

Here are 10 of these great, reassuring promises.

1. Ezekiel 36:26; "And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh" (ESV).

2. Lamentations 3:22–23; "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness"

3. Job 8:7; "And though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great".

4. Jeremiah 29:11; For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

5. Matthew 11:28-29; “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

6. Proverbs 1:33; "But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.”

7. John 14:27;“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid."

8. Romans 10:9; "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

9. Romans 6:23; "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."

10. Isaiah 40:29-31; He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."

Hold onto these promises in this thing called life.
