It's not insisting. Valentine's Day is an official day marked on every woman's calendar and one that she highly anticipates. It's lover's day! Just this once a year she's allowed to walk along the streets with love hearts and teddies holding a hand of the man she loves. She probably won't say it, but this is why you'll have a hurt, sulking girlfriend if you don't do something for Valentine's Day.

1. Women like the attention

It’s their day. Valentines was set a side to appreciate the women in your lives and dot on them. Once in a while it’s great to feel like you’re the centre of your partner’s world so if taking a bunch of roses to her office will make her happy, do it.

2. To get away with romance

She probably settled for your boyish ways of showing affection but trust, every girl even tomboys fantasize about the perfect gentleman that will hold a seat for her at a dinner date.

3. Girls like gifts

Even so, she’s probably got yours in her handbag too. It doesn’t have to be a car or a diamond ring. Buying her a book she’s always wanted to read or a purse you caught her ogling goes a long way to keeping her star-eyed.

This shouldn’t matter but it does. To a woman, pulling all the stops on Valentine ’s Day shows that you would go the extra mile just to keep her happy. Furthermore women are show offs. It’s going to be her pride to have something to flaunt when her girlfriends dish about their juicy Valentine’s.
