5 mistakes you are making in a new relationship

We all make one or two mistakes in love, especially when we are starting a new relationship and are cast in uncharted waters.

5 questions you should ask yourself before entering a new relationship

A new relationship is tricky at the beginning because that is when you are both getting to know each other.

Here are five mistakes you may be making in your new relationship.

1. Pretending to be something you’re not:

If someone is really your soulmate, he or she won’t care if you are a master chef or if you can do 100 push ups.

If you are working at some goals, such as a school degree, a business achievement, etc. then continue to work on your goals.

However, pretending to be who or what you are not just to impress your new partner is a recipe for disaster.

2. Calling or texting too much:

Please don't be a pest. Give him or her a chance to breathe. Don't choke your new partner with endless phone calls.

Call to check in on him or her, but do not go blowing up their phone every other hour.

3. Moving in together right away:

No, no, no and no! Do not under any circumstances rush to move in with someone you just started seeing. You may think you love each other and can't get enough of each other, but moving in is a very bad idea.

4. Changing your schedules for your partner:

Of course, compromises must be made for any relationship to succeed. However you must not change everything about you just because you want to accommodate your lover. There is no need to ditch all your hobbies simply because your partner has a different schedule.

5. Asking to meet their parents:

If someone is in love with you and the relationship is serious, chances are, he or she is already planning to introduce you to their family and friends. Do not badger them about being introduced to their parents, siblings and best friends.
