Automobile manufacturer set to design apartments in London, more!

Mercedes-Benz is branching out into the real estate industry.

Mercedes Living

Mercedes-Benz has announced plans to design apartments in London.

Tagged Mercedes-Benz Living, these apartments will be high-end for business people who plan to live away from their homes for long periods of time.

In the press release,  the German manufacturer revealed that they can be rented as soon as November of this year.

“More and more people are permanently on the move. They live and work in unfamiliar cities where they are looking for a ‘home away from home’ and a sense of security. That’s exactly what we want to offer them – and at the very highest level and with the perfection and quality that you’d expect from Mercedes-Benz.”

Working with Burmester, Swarovski and Fraser Hospitality Group, the automaker will have six fully furnished apartments in Kensington area of London.

Each place will have 1,000 square feet of living space, high-end materials, sharp designs, two bedroom units, high-end fixtures, furniture, the S-shaped sofa, and the Black Magic Wall that has an integrated smart TV.

According to Motorauthority, Mercedes-Benz Living will eventually move on to Singapore.

However, there will be nine units there, rather than two.

Also, each place will have about 500 square feet of space, unlike London with 1,000 square feet, and a cool sound stage with the Burmester sound system.

Mercedes-Benz is not the first car manufacturing company to branch into the real estate business.

Bugatti revealed a couple of seven-bedroom villas in Dubai, designed by Damac, who used the design language of Bugatti Veyron supercar.

Going for nearly $10 million, these are also high-end living spaces with a 18-hole golf course designed by Tiger Woods, floor to ceiling glass throughout, and furniture crafted to mimic the lines of Bugatti's automobiles.
