Nigeriarealestatehub reports that these houses will be built by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
“So far, about 100 hectares of land had been acquired by the company on which the houses would be built including other facilities like clinic, mini market and schools, among others.
Therefore, I will like to solicit for your continued cooperation in order to help us achieve the set goals of improving the welfare of workers,” the state Chairman of the NLC, Mr. Aminu Umar, said.
Governor Aminu Tambuwal, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Bashir Garba, commended this plan.
He stressed the importance of a functional, robust, motivated and dedicated civil service, by saying no society was complete without it.
Umar made the announcement in May, 2016.
