Elton John and his husband, David Furnish, are the new owners of a home.
Singer buys Beverly Hills mansion
Elton John has paid £19million(N5.8billion) for a ten bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills.
American magazine Variety reports that the home was sold by Armand Marciano, co-founder of fashion label, Guess.
Built in 2001, the mansion has an elevator, seven main bedrooms, three en suite staff bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and 12 half bathrooms, nine fireplaces, an 11-car garage, a double-height foyer, an expansive living and dining rooms, a commercial-grade kitchen, a library, family room, cinema, wine cellar, a tennis court, a swimming pool and a pool house with its own kitchen and pizza oven.
Originally priced at£41million(N12.5billion) in 2001, Elton got the 25,000 square feet property for £19million(N5.8billion).
However, this is not the singer's first home.
Elton's real estate portfolio includes a property in Atlanta, a villa in Nice, a country estate in Windsor, a town house in Holland Park area, London, and another home in Beverly Hills.
