Dream House of the Week

However, architect, Mario Romano, has succeeded in breaking the mold, and creating an exceptional property in Venice, California,Zillow reports.

According to Romano, this house is both modern, yet primal.

"By making it more organic in form, it becomes more of a human landscape. That’s what humans do: we build buildings and houses and streets — that’s our jungle, so it should resemble nature", he explained.

What makes this 5,700-square-foot property stand out is the wave designs found all over the place, hence the name, "wavy home."

Describing this, the architect says, "the material is an acrylic base, and no viruses, no mold, and no bacteria can grow on it."

Another spectacular thing is the fact that the house changes constantly!

“As the light changes throughout the day, anything that has texture to it will change depending on the orientation of the sun, depending on the time of day and year. That’s when you get surprises and discoveries that you only get by spending time in the house", he said.

Romano claims that anyone "who loves beauty, and someone who likes to entertain — since that’s a key element", will love this place.

Features include five bedrooms, window walls, 9-foot front door, 14-foot ceilings, outdoor theatre, 9.5-foot sliding glass walls, huge yard and swimming pool.

It has been listed for $6.498M.
