Pop queen's curvaceous body inspires tower in Melbourne, Australia

The curvaceous body on Beyonce, also known as Queen B, has inspired the design of the Premier Tower in Melbourne, Australia.

Beyoncé-inspired Skyscraper

This building, formally known as 'the Premier Tower' will be located in Melbourne, Australia.

Elenberg Fraser, the architect, said the design was inspired by Queen B's different personas.

According to him, Beyonce has four characters: the muse, the fighter, the performer, and the seductress, adding that these will all be represented in the building.

"We came up with four characters: The muse, the fighter, the performer, and the seductress. 's an inspiration for fashion and textiles, so we’ve reflected this with certain elements of pleating and folding in very elegant spaces.

But she’s also this super fit, strong woman, almost akin to a warrior, which has been reflected in our fitness areas. In our communal level, she’s there as the performer, where there’s going to be dramatic lighting, karaoke rooms and games rooms.

So her personas inform the uses of our spaces as well as our design elements—like how our penthouse will be representing her as the seductress."

The construction of the tower will begin in the last quarter of this year.

"Following site clearance and logistical arrangements, the construction works on site are expected to commence in the last quarter of 2016",Fraser said.
