Ahmed Gulak, former Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan on political matter brought the suit against Secondus before the court.

A High Court in Abuja has ordered the acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Uche Secondus, to vacate office within 14 days‎.

In its ruling on Tuesday, December 14, Justice Hussein Baba held that Secondus' position is zoned to the North-East, which means it cannot be occupied by him.

Ahmed Gulak, former Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan on political matter brought the suit against Secondus before the court.

Justice Baba gave Secondus 14 days ultimatum to step down for the plaintiff or any other party member worthy of the 'acting National Chairman' position.
