‘Powerful people are controlling Buhari,’ Senate President says
The Senate President also said he will continue to rise above all the persecutions.

Saraki alleged that some people have seized power from President Buhari, adding that they are using it to run their personal agenda.
Daily Post reports that he said “Let it be abundantly clear, both as a citizen and as a foremost Legislator, I will continue to rise above all the persecution and distraction that have been visited on me. In the words of Martin Luther King Junior, “the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at a time of challenge and controversy.”
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu were accused of forging the Senate standing order to pave way for the emergence as Senate leaders.
Also. angry youths under the umbrella of Effective Representation Ambassadors and Defenders of Democracystormed the Federal High Court, Abuja to protest the trial of the Saraki and Ekweremadu.
