Governor says Buhari is healthier than Jonathan

Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso stated this on Sunday, February 22, during a meeting with journalists in Kano state.

The Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has said that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari is healthier than President Goodluck Jonathan.

Kwankwaso stated this on Sunday, February 22, during a meeting with journalists in the state.

“By my judgement, since we finished our party primary elections, he is sound, hale and fit to rule this country,” Kwankwaso stated.

“In fact I feel he is healthier than the incumbent occupier of the seat because he went to all the states on campaigns in addition to other engagements that come in between,” he added.

The governor also stated that it would take more than money to win the upcoming general elections.

“The Federal Government and the PDP can use all the money in the treasury to bribe whoever they want, but God, the Almighty, has his own way of doing things. Power belongs to Him not to those with money or who control security agencies. Nigerians are wiser,” Kwankwaso said.

The governor, who was an APC presidential aspirant before losing to Buhari in the party primaries, also gave account of achievements made during his tenure.

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has repeatedly accused Buhari of hiding the true state of his health and earlier posted a controversial advert apparently prophesying death for the former Head of State.
