Group lauds INEC over successful polls
A youth oriented NGO has commended INEC for the electoral process and outcome of the Ondo State.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won the contest of Nov. 26.
The Alliance for Democracy candidate, Olusola Oke, polled 26,889, while APC got 244,842 and Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Eyitayo Jegede got 150,380.
Samson Itodo, Executive Director of the group, said at a press conference in Akure that at 65 per cent of the polling units, INEC officials arrived by 7.30 a.m. in Ondo Northern senatorial district but slightly later in the south and central districts.
The group noted that there were security agents at 98 per cent of the polling units, noting that no polling unity was without card reader.
The group added that accreditation and voting ended between 2p.m. and 3pm. in 23 per cent of the polling units.
