‘APC not managing victory very well,’ Governor says

Okorocha had earlier said that he would not run in the 2019 presidential elections because God told him to settle for the governorship.

Governor Rochas Okorocha

Okorocha made the comment while speaking to journalists in Owerri on Sunday, May 22, 2016.

“Make no mistake about it, All Progressives Congress, APC, is a good party by all standards. But my regret is that we are not managing our victory very well,” the governor said.

“I have no doubt in my mind that the old man (Buhari) will succeed. All I pleaded with Buhari to capture in the current fiscal year are in the budget. I want to assure Ndigbo that all that are due to us will definitely get to us,” he added.

Okorocha had earlier said that he would not run in the 2019 presidential elections because God told him to settle for the governorship.
