Commenting on his alleged reunion with the People's Democratic Party (PDP), the ex-president stressed that he has left party for good.

He said: “In the part of the country where I come from, there is a saying that you cannot say ‘good night’ and come back to say ‘good evening’ in the same place.

“So for me, it is good night for the Peoples Democratic Party and that’s all.”

Obasanjo, was in Taraba to assess some projects initiated by his administration in the state, had in February, 2015, terminated his PDP membership.
