The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneur Award 2015

The Schwab Foundation is receiving applications and nominations for the 2015 edition of the Social Entrepreneurship Award.

"Selected winners will be included in the Schwab Foundation network of social entrepreneurs. This includes access to a peer network of social entrepreneurs, special benefits such as pro-bono consulting services and scholarships to executive education courses at world-class institutions such as Harvard Business School, Stanford University and INSEAD," the announcement read.

"Excellent finalists or winners under 40 will also be nominated to the Young Global Leaders network of the World Economic Forum."

The Social Entrepreneur of the Year Competition is open to all social entrepreneurs with organizations based in Asia/Asia Pacific (excluding India), Africa, Europe (except France), Latin America (except Brazil, Chile, Venezuela), Middle East, North Africa and North America.

In March, 37 were announced Social Entrepreneurs of the Year 2014.

Selected from the fields of health, education, employment, and the environment, the awardees the Schwab Foundation network of outstanding social entrepreneurs and have an opportunity to be part of World Economic Forum events.
