This is coming on the heels of the emergence of Rotimi Akeredolu, the APC guber candidate as winner of the just concluded governorship election in Ondo state.

According to Punch, the Ondo APC spokesman, Abayomi Adesanya said “Already investigations are ongoing about the Mimiko government. If the anti-graft agencies such as the EFCC need any information from us to assist in their investigation, the incoming APC-led government will provide all the necessary assistance and information.

“One of the cardinal issues that the APC is committed to is the war against corruption. Corruption must be uprooted. It is destroying our country. We salute the professionalism of all security agencies before, during and after the governorship poll. We commend specially the sacrifices of the security agents that were deployed from various states in Ondo State.
