Former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola was, on November 11, 2015, appointed the Minister of Power, Works and Housing by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Fashola resumed at his new office shortly after and was welcomed by happy and cheering employees.

“We are here to work with you, in solving problems on ground as quickly as possible, we want to know if some of those problems are man-made or systemic,” he told officials of the Power Ministry.
