'My credentials made me Governor, not Ize-Iyamu,' says Oshiomhole

Oshiomhole urged the people to send the PDP in Edo state back to obscurity with their Permanent Voter Cards on September 10.

Adams Oshiomhole

Oshiomhole was reacting to Ize-Iyamu's statement that he was instrumental to the Governor's election in 2007.

The Governor stated this during a campaign rally for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the forthcoming Edo governorship election, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, which was held at Garrick Memorial College in Oredo Local Government Area of the state.

“Check the records; on April 14, during my election, Ize-Iyamu was in hiding from the EFCC. How can somebody who didn’t vote claim that he made me?," Oshiomhole said.
