Ex-Senate President missing from National Assembly website

Mark will be going head to head with the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Benue South, Donald Onjeh, in a rerun election.

The bio-data and picture of Former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, and eight others, are missing from the National Assembly website.

A search for the former Senate President, who represents the Benue South constituency of Benue state, on the Find My Legislators page of the website, did not present any result.

Mark will be going head to head with the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Benue South, Donald Onjeh, in a rerun election.

The former Senate President in a swift reaction, expressed confidence that he would win the re-run election.

Daily Trust also reports that some other Senators whose photographs and bio-data have been deleted include:  Uche Lilian Ekwunife, George Thompson Sekibo(PDP), Olaka Johnson Nwogu(PDP), Osinakachukwu Ideozu(PDP), Abdulrahman Abubakar(APC), and Mao Ohuabunwa (PDP).

Senator David Mark was President of the Senate from 2007 to 2015, until the All Progressives Congress (APC) took over power in the 2015 elections.
