President Buhari has urged the judiciary to support the anti-corruption war by speeding up the trial of those charged with looting of public finds. He urged the judiciary to turn a new leaf and refrain from dragging cases unnecessarily.

The president was making reference specifically to the trials of Sambo Dasuki,  former National Security Adviser; a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bello Haliru Mohammed, a former Governor of Sokoto, Attahiru Bafarawa and a few others who were indicted in the $2.1b arms deal scandal.
